Vancouver Sea to Sky Gondola Rising Above Morning Fog Just After Sunrise

A steel cable car gondola ascends the steep slope of Grouse Mountain, cutting through a thick layer of white fog that blankets the lower city below. The morning sun casts a pale, diffused light on the metallic exterior of the cabin as it moves upward toward the viewing platform. Below, the dense evergreen forest of British Columbia is partially obscured by the mist, with only the tops of tall Douglas firs poking through the cloud cover. The sky above is a clear gradient of soft blue and light orange, indicating the early hours of the day. The iconic transit system in action, highlighting the contrast between the industrial structure and the natural, misty landscape of Vancouver.
