Tuatara on Workbench in Seeb Late Afternoon

Soft overcast light falls through a window, illuminating a tuatara resting on a wooden workbench in Seeb. Fine dust particles drift in the shafts of light, catching the diffuse glow. The reptile's textured gray scales contrast with the worn grain of the timber surface beneath it. Monsoon season brings a muted, gray sky outside, visible through the glass pane. The animal remains still, its posture disciplined and controlled, eyes fixed forward. A small scratch on the wood near the tail marks years of use. Dust motes hang suspended in the air, caught in the beam that falls across the bench.
