A small terracotta flowerpot sits on a weathered concrete balcony ledge, its rough texture against the smooth surface beneath. Sunlight streams in from the east, casting a bright, elongated stripe of light across the gray tiles of the floor. Beside the pot, a pair of worn work gloves rests casually, their leather stained with soil from recent gardening tasks. The clear afternoon light highlights the dust particles floating in the air around the balcony railing.
