Terracotta Pot in San Francisco

A terracotta pot sits on a rusted iron balcony railing, catching the first warm rays of the San Francisco sunrise. The rough, unglazed clay surface is textured with dust and small cracks, against the smooth, cold metal of the railing. Behind the pot, the cityscape fades into a soft haze of blue and gray, with distant rooftops visible through the morning mist. One green shoot emerges from the dark soil, pointing upward toward the pale sky.
