A weathered terracotta plant pot sits on a rusted wrought-iron balcony railing, lit by the golden light of a San Francisco late afternoon. The rough, porous surface of the clay catches the warm glow, highlighting small chips and the dust accumulated from the bay breeze. Behind the pot, the blurred vertical lines of a Victorian building facade provide a textured backdrop of faded yellow and green paint.
