Surreal Pho Shop Floor Turns to Sand Dunes

Golden hour light spills across the wet pavement outside a corner cafe in Puerto Cabello, where steam from a neon-lit pho restaurant rises and mingles with falling rain. Wind funnels dry leaves and scattered trash along the curb, catching the warm glow. Inside the glass, the scene shifts abruptly: the smooth ceramic tile floor dissolves seamlessly into rolling sand dunes that climb toward the counter. The impossible dunes hold the same warm light as the street, casting soft shadows from hanging lanterns and neon signs. Wet droplets rest on the window frame, blurring the boundary between the rainy street and the desert floor, while a plastic chair rests on the sand as if it has been there for years.
