Warm firelight glows across a row of cardboard poster tubes stacked inside a retail cubby, casting long, soft shadows against the storefront glass. Wet pavement outside reflects the fading autumn sun, flattening the daylight that falls through the window. Fine dust motes and tiny fibers of tissue hang suspended in the golden beams, drifting near the rough texture of the cardboard tubes. The glass surface shows faint water droplets from the recent rain, blurring the view of the street beyond while keeping the interior sharp. A wooden shelf edge runs horizontally, anchoring the stacked inventory. The scene ends with a single dust particle settling on the rim of the nearest tube.
