Rainy Alley Noodle Shop Blue Hour

Wet pavement mirrors the warm orange spill from a small kiosk in Idanre, against the cooling blue twilight of the sky. A plastic noodle cart sits at the curb, steam rising faintly into the damp air. Wind sweeps crumpled paper and dry leaves along the gutter, funneling debris past the vendor's legs. The kiosk's glass windows reflect the darkening street, while puddles distort the neon signage above. Overhead, the wet season clouds hang low, casting a diffuse, gray light over the scene. A red plastic stool rests on the slick concrete, untouched by the late-night activity. at the edge is one drop of water sliding down the metal rim of the soup ladle.
