Surreal Couture Bodice with Sand Dunes Floor

Polished chrome boning glows under warm string lights attached to a mirror ringed with makeup bulbs. The padded hanger suspends a structured bodice against the reflective surface, its fabric catching sharp highlights from the bulbs. A low angle view reveals the floor transforming abruptly from glossy ceramic tiles into fine, rippled sand dunes that stretch toward the back wall. The sand rises in gentle waves, meeting the tiled section with a seamless, impossible edge. Dust motes hang motionless in the dry air, illuminated by the bulb glow. The boning casts thin, precise shadows that fall across both the tile and the sand, anchoring the garment to two different realities. One grain of sand rests on the hem of the fabric.
