The fabric catches the weak morning glow, turning thousands of tiny discs into scattered points of cool white and pale blue. Heavy, dramatic clouds press low against the window frames, filtering the light into a soft, diffused haze. A faint, poised stillness hangs over the fabric, its weight pressing the sequins flat against the rough surface.
