Orchestra Tuning Under Gold Leaf Ceiling in Encarnacion

Bright midmorning light floods the concert hall in Encarnacion, illuminating musicians tuning their instruments beneath a ceiling adorned with aged gold leaf. The reflected glow from nearby water casts a shimmering, fluid sheen across the polished wood of the violins and the brass of the trumpets. Drifting festival dust motes hang suspended in the air, catching the sunbeams and creating a visible haze that softens the sharp edges of the stage. The musicians stand in organized rows, their focused postures against the ornate, peeling details of the gilded arches above. Shadows fall steeply across the floorboards, at the base of the figures in the expansive room. One violin scroll catches a direct beam of light, its varnish gleaming against the dark, shadowed backdrop of the hall's upper gallery.
