Golden Wheat Field in Tohoku Sunset

Orange low-angle light spills across a sprawling wheat field in Tohoku, illuminating stalks that stand tall against an early winter sky. Dramatic clouds stack in heavy grays and burnt oranges above the horizon, casting long, sharp shadows across the undulating ground. The wheat heads, dry and brittle with the season, catch the fading sun in a sea of amber and gold. Negative space surrounds the crop, showing the vast, untamed openness of the rural landscape. The texture of the dried stalks appears rough and fibrous under the harsh directional glow. One stalk bends slightly at the tip, its shadow stretching long across the earth.
