Flakes of white snow drift slowly downward over a field of golden wheat stalks that stand tall along a rugged cliff edge. The late afternoon sun reflects off the distant water, casting a soft, shimmering glow across the ripening grains and the pale, salt-sprayed rocks below. The wheat, tinged with early autumn yellows and browns, bends slightly under the accumulating weight of the snow. Negative space fills the upper sky, showing the vastness of the storm against the sharp horizon line. One clump of dry grass near the foreground edge holds a fresh snowflake on its tip.
