Pale blue projector light washes over dark tiled walls in a Lijiang stair hall, illuminating a pottery wheel caught in rapid rotation. Wet clay spirals upward, transforming into a soft, vertical streak of gray against the shadowed corners. The floor reflects muted, elongated shapes where the light hits the damp stone tiles. Early autumn stillness marks the space, defined only by the rhythmic geometry of the spinning motion. Diagonal lines from the stairs cut across the frame, creating tension between the static architecture and the fluid blur of the wet earth. A sharp edge of the wheel base anchors the composition, resting against the dissolving form of the clay above it.
