Snow Slush in Oslo School Woodshop Corridor Night

Wet patches of tracked snow and melting slush coat the linoleum floor of a woodshop corridor in Oslo. Dark brown wood shavings mix with the gray ice near the base of heavy workbenches. Soft tungsten light from overhead fixtures casts a warm yellow glow across the damp surfaces, highlighting the glistening texture of the melting ice. Long shadows stretch from the metal tool racks against the pale painted walls. A narrow strip of cool blue window light cuts across the wet floorboards, against the amber artificial light. Condensation beads on the lower edges of the wooden cabinets, and a single puddle reflects the overhead bulb in a distorted circle near the doorframe.
