Fluorescent Fashion Shelf in Kunming Night Corridor

Stark fluorescent light floods a narrow backstage corridor in Kunming, illuminating a cluttered shelf of fashion supplies. Colorful thread cones in red, teal, and yellow sit alongside worn pattern rulers marked with faded ink lines. The rough concrete walls reflect the harsh overhead glow, creating deep shadows behind the objects. Outside the narrow window, a light drizzle blurs the early spring night sky into a dark wash of indigo. The rulers show signs of heavy use with frayed edges and smudged measurements. Dust settles on the metal shelf brackets, catching the light in sharp, granular points. one drop of water runs down the glass pane, distorting the view of the wet pavement beyond.
