Snow Roller Rolling on Davie Village Hillside at Dawn

Misty diffused dawn light washes over a grassy hillside near Davie Village in Vancouver, where a cylindrical snow roller rests on the slope. The early spring thaw leaves patches of green grass visible beneath the white, wind-formed tube. Behind the rolling snow, a horizon of stacked thunderheads rises sharply against a perfectly clear sky. The light is soft and even, eliminating harsh shadows while highlighting the rough, icy texture of the snow roll. The scene stretches wide in a panoramic view, showing the spacious grandeur of the landscape. A faint reflection of the pale sky glimmers on the wet grass near the base of the snow cylinder.
