Silhouetted Rabbit at North Korean Warren Entrance

Thick mist hangs low over a wind-scoured ridge in late summer, softening the jagged contours of the North Korean landscape. Copper-toned light from the dying sun backlights a rabbit warren entrance, turning the burrow into a dark hollow against the glowing horizon. One rabbit sits motionless at the threshold, its form reduced to a sharp silhouette. The animal's ears stand erect, showing alert tension as it watches the encroaching night. Rough, dry grasses sway near the burrow's rim, their edges catching the faint copper glow. The mist blurs the distant ridgeline, leaving the immediate foreground in high contrast between the deep black of the warren and the fading amber sky. The rabbit's dark outline rests against the luminous haze.
