Silhouetted Pingo Mound After Rain

A dark, rounded mound rises from the wet floodplain near Oslo, its silhouette sharp against the fading blue evening sky. The ground glistens with recent rain, reflecting the soft, diffused light of a brief sun shower. Sparse grasses and low shrubs dot the foreground, their leaves heavy with moisture. The horizon stretches wide, showing the isolation of the geological feature. Patches of standing water mirror the grey clouds above, creating a seamless transition between earth and sky. The edges of the mound are softened by the backlight, blending into the twilight while the wet earth remains textured and dark. A small ripple disturbs the surface of a puddle near the base, catching the last light.
