Silhouetted Moraine Boulders in Early Winter Valley

Dark, angular boulders rest atop a glacial moraine ridge, forming a stark silhouette against the fading orange glow of a low winter sun. The wide valley floor stretches out beneath them, shrouded in a thick, gray sea spray that softens the distant horizon. Bare, leafless branches of scattered shrubs poke up from the rocky ground, their thin twigs outlined in the backlight. The boulders appear rough and weathered, their surfaces catching the last light on their upper edges while the lower slopes fall into deep shadow. Mist rests on the valley floor, creating a seamless boundary between the dark rocks and the hazy sky. One jagged stone stands slightly apart from the main cluster, casting a long, thin shadow across the loose gravel.
