Silhouetted Mill in Tallinn Drying Room

Honeyed evening light floods the leaf-drying room in Tallinn, casting the old water mill into a stark, dark silhouette against the bright window. Rows of mesh trays line the walls, stacked high and empty, their grid patterns catching the fading glow. Fine droplets of a light drizzle streak the glass, blurring the exterior view into a soft, wet smear. The mill's heavy wooden beams and metal gears stand rigid and unmoving, their details lost in the deep shadow. Dust motes hang suspended in the shafts of light, adding a gritty texture to the air. At the bottom of the frame, the rough concrete floor reflects a faint, dark outline of the mill's base, at the base of the structure in the dim interior.
