Thick shafts of late morning light pierce the humid air of a Zhejiang leaf-drying facility, illuminating suspended industrial dust. A massive, weathered stone mill dominates the low-angle view, its waterwheel half-submerged in a shallow, murky basin. The ancient stone contrasts with the modern mesh trays lining the walls, stacked in precise rows holding drying leaves. Fine grit coats the rough masonry, while the waterwheel's wooden slats show signs of decay and heavy use. Sunlight falls through the factory haze, highlighting the texture of crumbling mortar and the wet sheen on the submerged wheel base. at the edge is a shadow cast by a mesh tray edge falling across the wet stone floor.
