Shelf Cloud Rolling Over Kansai Prairie at Twilight
A massive shelf cloud dominates the horizon, its dark gray underbelly stretching low across the flat Kansai prairie. Cool blue hour light washes the landscape in a uniform, shadowless tone, turning the early spring grasses into a muted green-gray carpet. Fine sea spray hangs in the air, softening the distant tree line and creating a hazy veil between the ground and the sky. The cloud base forms a sharp, straight edge that contrasts with the gentle undulations of the prairie below. No rain falls yet, only the heavy, still presence of the storm front approaching from the west. The horizon line remains perfectly straight, bisected by the dark mass of the cloud and the pale, fading sky above. A faint reflection of the cloud edge glimmers on a wet patch of soil in the immediate foreground.
