Rain streaks the large window behind a stage where a Karagoz shadow puppeteer manipulates leather figures against a bright, diffused glow. The silhouette of the performer stands at the right edge, hands raised high to cast intricate shadows of traditional characters onto a white screen. Inside the dimly lit jazz club, the audience sits in rows, their heads turned toward the performance. Warm amber light from hanging fixtures reflects on wet pavement visible through the glass. Outside, the sky holds the soft violet of twilight as the sun dips low. The leather puppets show fine perforated details in their cutouts, while the screen catches the sharp, dancing edges of the shadows. One raindrop traces a path down the glass pane near the top corner.
