Under the flat, diffused light of an overcast midday in Lima, a narrow service corridor in a Miraflores apartment building reveals a lived-in domestic cluster. A stainless steel dish rack overflows with wet plates and a blue and white porcelain bowl, its glaze reflecting the dull sky through a nearby window. Beside it, a ceramic key bowl sits on a chipped countertop, surrounded by scattered keys and a folded hand towel. Soap streaks smear the adjacent wall tiles, evidence of recent scrubbing, while woven baskets stack against the far wall, their rough texture against the slick, damp surfaces.
