Sequined Gown on Painted Floorboards in Neon Arcade

A cascade of silver sequins pools across weathered studio floorboards splattered with dried blue and red paint. The fabric drapes heavily, catching the warm glow of overhead string lights that hang low in the midnight air. Fine steam rises from the floor, swirling around the hem where the gown meets the rough wood. Tiny fibers and dust motes hang suspended in the light beams, visible against the dark background. The neon signs of the São Paulo arcade cast a cool electric blue reflection on the metallic threads, against the amber string lights. The sequins shimmer without moving, resting in a still, tangled heap that suggests a moment of pause before the show begins.
