Droplets of rain rest on the corrugated plastic of a bus shelter, blurring the view of a face pressed close to the glass. Warm amber light from nearby string lights reflects off the wet surface, casting soft highlights on the subject's cheek. Autumn leaves in shades of russet and gold lie scattered on the ground outside, against the falling snowflakes that drift silently through the cool blue twilight. The person’s expression remains still and attentive, framed tightly by the shelter's metal supports.
