Rainy Night Portrait in Warm Light

A face fills the frame, centered and intimate, illuminated by the soft, flickering orange glow of a nearby candle. Rain streaks the dark window behind, blurring the night into vertical smears of black and gray. The warm light catches the texture of skin, highlighting pores and the subtle sheen of moisture on the cheek. Shadows deepen in the hollows of the eyes and under the jaw, creating a stark contrast against the bright, warm highlights. The reflection of the candle flame dances briefly in the wet glass, while the cold blue tones of the storm outside press against the pane. one drop of condensation rests on the lower edge of the window frame.
