Raccoon Washing Food in Dhaka Afternoon

Bright tropical light floods the tight frame, illuminating wet fur that rests on the raccoon's small, alert body. The animal sits on a rough, damp surface, its dark mask stark against the pale, glistening whiskers. Water droplets bead on its paws as it manipulates a small object, the fur around its wrists soaked and matted. Behind the creature, blurred green foliage suggests a humid, post-rain environment typical of early winter in the Dhaka region. The light reflects sharply off the wet skin and the glistening food item, creating high contrast between the shadowed underbelly and the sunlit back. One water droplet hangs precariously from the tip of the raccoon's left paw, ready to fall.
