Soft tungsten light washes over a plush cushion resting on a narrow window seat. Rain streaks the glass, blurring the dark street beyond into vertical smears of gray and black. A domestic cat lies curled tight against the wet pane, its fur appearing dense and slightly damp near the paws. The cushion fabric shows a subtle weave texture, free of dust or clutter.
