Privacy Screen Rattling in Courtyard Draft

Indigo twilight fills the courthouse corridor in Panama City, casting a cool, wet sheen on the concrete floor. Behind a translucent privacy screen, the draft from an open gym door causes the thin plastic to ripple and vibrate against its metal frame. Reflected light from nearby water surfaces bathes the scene in a deep, aquatic blue, highlighting the fine texture of the ribbed plastic and the damp, polished stone. Humid air settles on the smooth surfaces, visible as a slight haze near the floor. The screen stands as a temporary barrier, its edges fluttering in the cross-breeze generated by the door's movement. A faint shadow of the door frame stretches across the screen's surface, marking the boundary between the interior and the indigo evening outside.
