Porto Alegre Juice Station Sky Transition in inside a breakfast room before opening in Porto Alegre

Porto Alegre Juice Station Sky Transition

by Hector Garrett

Pale walls reflect soft indirect light across a stainless steel breakfast juice station in Porto Alegre. The counter holds empty glass dispensers and stacked metal cups, their surfaces gleaming without decorative filler. A rectangular opening frames the view beyond, where the sky splits sharply: the left side glows with late afternoon sun while the right side plunges into a star-filled night. The impossible horizon line casts a cool blue glow on the right half of the room, against the warm afternoon light on the left. Chrome handles reflect the dual sky, showing tiny stars next to bright sun patches. One shadow falls strictly from the left, lengthening across the floor tiles toward the night side.
