Soft gray light blankets a vast expanse of snow-dusted tundra where a long industrial pipeline stretches toward the horizon. The steel tubes gleam faintly against the white ground, running parallel to a massive concrete storm surge barrier on the left. Heat shimmer distorts the air just above the dark metal surface, creating a wavy, translucent veil that ripples upward. The ground texture shifts from smooth, wind-swept snow to rough patches of exposed earth near the barrier's base. The overcast sky merges seamlessly with the distant horizon, erasing any clear line between earth and air. One shadow falls sharply along the pipeline's lower curve, anchoring the structure to the frozen earth.
