Green ribbons of light undulate across a heavy, charcoal sky above the flat, snow-covered tundra of Finland. The ground glows with a faint, diffuse luminescence, reflecting the starlight that pierces through breaks in the thick overcast clouds. Layers of frozen terrain stretch into the distance, showing vast, wind-carved solitude. The snow surface appears smooth and unbroken, marked only by subtle drifts shaped by the polar night winds. Shadows are soft and indistinct, blending the horizon into the deep blue of the upper atmosphere. at the edge is a thin, dark ridge of bare earth cutting through the white expanse near the foreground.
