Paving Train on Muddy Road at Dawn Near Taza

Pale gray light from heavy overcast skies falls across a wet concrete surface and the steel body of a roadwork paving train. The massive machine sits stationary on a muddy access road near Taza during monsoon season, its tracks pressing into the saturated earth. Rain coats the metal surfaces, creating a fine sheen that reflects the dull sky. Long shadows stretch across the damp ground where no crew members are yet visible, leaving the equipment in a state of suspended readiness. A line of safety barriers stands empty along the roadside, waiting for the workers who will soon arrive to begin the day's coordination. At the edge, a single puddle ripples around the tread of the largest rear wheel.
