Orange Barrel Stack on Tando Allahyar Deck

Steel-blue ambient light washes over a stack of orange and white traffic barrels resting on a rough concrete construction deck in Tando Allahyar. Low-hanging clouds press against the horizon, diffusing the last remnants of daylight into a cool, uniform glow. The barrels, made of tough ribbed plastic, display sharp edges and scuff marks from earlier site activity. From a low worm's-eye perspective, the cylindrical forms tower upward, their reflective stripes catching the faint sky above. The concrete surface beneath shows embedded aggregate and small cracks, at the base of the scene in early winter. A few dark shadows stretch between the barrels, aligning their vertical forms against the heavy, overcast sky. The topmost barrel rests directly on the one below, its white stripe mirroring the gray clouds above.
