Open Kiln Door Radiating Heat in Turbine Hall

Soft afternoon light falls through the high windows of the turbine hall, illuminating a suspended metallic haze that lingers just above the concrete floor. The heavy steel kiln door stands open, revealing a core of intense orange heat that bleeds outward into the cooler gray space. Surrounding machinery displays a mix of industrial wear and the distinct architectural lines of the Marrakech facility, with textured metal surfaces reflecting the diffused glow. The heat creates a visible distortion in the air, bending the light near the opening. Dust motes hang suspended in the beam of light, caught in the stillness of the midsummer afternoon. A shadow falls sharply across the floor, marking the edge of the open door against the smooth, cool ground.
