Deep shadow swallows the foreground while a sharp rim of moonlight cuts across the edges of tall ceremonial banners. The fabric panels stand vertical, their dark surfaces absorbing the night air, revealing only the silvered outlines where the light strikes. Behind the dark shapes, the faint glow of distant street lamps bleeds through the turn-of-season air, highlighting the rough weave of the materials. A stone archway frames the procession path, creating a secondary boundary that isolates the moving figures against the black sky. The banners sway slightly, their heavy folds catching the minimal illumination, while the texture of the wet pavement reflects the faintest glimmer of the rim light. One tassel hangs motionless at the bottom corner, its fibers distinct against the darkness.
