New Hampshire Country Lanes Before Sunrise

Diagonal ribbons of wet asphalt cut through a patchwork of late summer fields in New Hampshire, disappearing into the deep shadows of predawn. A light drizzle coats the road surfaces, turning them into dark, reflective mirrors that catch the faint, cool rim light skimming the horizon. The surrounding landscape reveals muted greens of grass and earthy browns of unplowed soil, softened by the mist. Tension builds as the lanes slice sharply across the frame, guiding the eye from the foreground into the expansive, rolling topography. The wet texture of the pavement contrasts with the matte, damp vegetation, while the horizon glows with a subtle, pale blue hint of coming daylight against the heavy, gray clouds.
