Rain-slicked asphalt mirrors fractured neon signs in a grid of electric blue, amber, and crimson streaks. Hard midday glare falls through a hazy autumn sky, softening the harshness of the light while the wet ground amplifies the glow. A dark kiosk structure anchors the left third of the frame, its weathered metal edges glistening with droplets. Puddles distort the colors into elongated, liquid shapes that shift slightly with the rhythm of a light drizzle. The concrete sidewalk borders the street, showing patches of fallen brown leaves from the peak autumn season. A final shadow of a passing vehicle stretches across the wet surface, breaking the neon pattern.
