Dawn Cotton Fields Indonesia Aerial View
by Erica Romero
Pale morning light washes over vast cotton fields in Indonesia, revealing a patchwork of pale green and beige rows that stretch toward the horizon. The dry season leaves the soil between plants exposed, creating a textured mosaic of earth tones. Each cluster of cotton bolls appears as a small, bright white cloud against the darker foliage, forming a rhythmic pattern across the landscape. The perfectly clear sky above offers no clouds, only a soft gradient of blue fading into the distance. Layers of depth recede as the rows become finer and lighter, eventually dissolving into the hazy horizon line. The geometric precision of the planting creates clear order, with shadows remaining short and soft under the low angle of the rising sun. The edge of the field meets a faint line of trees, marking the boundary between cultivated land and the wilder terrain beyond.
