Navy Peacoats on Rail in London Atelier

Warm honeyed light streams across a perfectly symmetrical rail holding rows of navy peacoats made from brushed melton wool. The fabric surfaces catch the edge lighting, revealing the soft, dense texture of the coats and the subtle variations in the navy dye. Tiny fibers and a faint haze of steam float in the air, illuminated by the low angle sun that falls through the atelier windows. The coats hang in uniform alignment, their heavy collars resting against one another. Shadows stretch softly along the floorboards, at the base of the garments in the quiet space. One brass hook on the far right catches a glint of the fading daylight.
