Mumbai Service Tunnel Junction Twilight Sea Spray
Steel ladder rungs ascend the rusted flank of a massive water tower against a deepening blue sky. Low clouds gather heavy and dramatic above the structure, their undersides catching the last ambient light. Below, a concrete service tunnel entrance opens into shadow, its rough surface wet with fresh sea spray. The water droplets glint like scattered diamonds on the dark metal and damp concrete. Reflected light from the nearby ocean washes over the scene in cool, silver tones, highlighting the texture of corrosion and the smooth sheen of wet stone. The tunnel mouth frames a glimpse of the dark interior, against the open, cloudy sky above. One rust streak runs vertically down the tower base, marking the path of past water flow.
