Morning Roll Cloud Over Abakan Storm Plain
A low-hanging roll cloud stretches horizontally across the pale morning sky, its textured underbelly glowing faintly where the early sun strikes the horizon haze. Below, the storm-bright plain of Abakan spreads out in layers of receding depth, marked by wet, dark soil and scattered patches of green grass glistening from a recent sun shower. The sky transitions from a soft, washed-out blue at the zenith to a luminous, hazy gold near the distant horizon line. Thin, vertical shafts of rain are visible falling in the distance, catching the low-angle light and creating a shimmering curtain against the darker earth. The atmosphere remains still, with no wind disturbing the grass blades, showing the serene pause between weather systems. The cloud's base rests just above the flat terrain, creating a stark separation between the heavy moisture above and the quiet, wet ground below.
