Markhor Silhouette on Winter Cliff

Hard coastal glare slices through dramatic winter clouds, turning a mountain goat into a sharp, dark shape against the sky. The animal stands on a steep, rocky precipice where snow clings to jagged ledges. Its massive, spiraling horns catch the edge of the light, defining the curve of the skull. Below, the cliff face drops away into a gray, churning void of sea spray and ice. The bright midmorning sun creates a stark contrast between the deep shadows of the rock and the blinding white of the sky. The creature remains perfectly still, a fragile silhouette against the vast, empty air. One lock of white fur on the neck glows faintly against the dark outline.
