Marimba Player Under Circus Tent Dusk

Twilight settles over a Santa Clara festival stage beneath a striped circus tent. A musician stands center stage, hands raised to strike the wooden bars of a large marimba. Warm string lights drape overhead, casting a soft, golden glow on the player's focused expression and the polished wood grain of the instrument. Behind the performer, heavy fabric curtains hang in deep folds, while a thin layer of stage haze floats in the air, catching the light beams. Thick black cables snake across the floorboards, disappearing into the shadows near the tent poles. The cool season air is visible in the crisp, clear edges of the wooden keys and the player's light jacket. A reflection of the string lights glimmers on the smooth surface of the lowest marimba bar.
