Magic Lantern Projection in Bogota Prayer Hall

Deep shadows swallow the stone interior of a prayer hall in Bogota, leaving only a sharp rim light to define the silhouette of an antique magic lantern resting on a wooden pedestal. Hand-painted glass slides glow with faint, saturated colors inside the brass housing. Through the open archway, a corridor extends visibly farther than the building structure allows, its perspective stretching into an impossible depth against the heavy overcast sky visible at the far end. Wet season moisture beads on the dark stone floor, reflecting the dim city lights beginning to glow outside. Foreground bokeh blurs hanging textile edges, focusing attention on the precise alignment of the lantern's lens and the impossible geometry of the extending hallway.
