A thick layer of atmospheric haze softens the distant horizon, against the sharp, electric glow of the northern lights. The ice surface acts as a mirror, doubling the lanterns and the colorful aurora in a symmetrical reflection. Cold blue shadows from the structures stretch across the white ground, while the firelit windows offer a small pocket of orange warmth against the overwhelming darkness of the polar night.
