Violet and green ribbons of aurora australis stretch horizontally across a deep indigo sky, positioned just above the dark silhouette of the Southern Ocean horizon. Cold moonlight washes the foreground in silver, revealing wet sand and scattered pebbles that glisten after recent rain. The air appears exceptionally clear, allowing faint stars to puncture the darkness between the luminous bands. Low-angle framing places a dark, damp rock in the immediate foreground, anchoring the view while the light curtains expand upward. Sharp edges of the water meet the sky in a seamless line, with the glow reflecting faintly on the wet surface below. One patch of foam rests on the dark sand near the rock's base.
