Limestone Karst Tower Rising from Jungle Mist at Twilight

Deep indigo twilight blankets the wave-cut shoreline near Cartagena, where a massive limestone karst tower emerges from thick, clinging jungle mist. The rock face, textured with wind-carved striations and wet patches from recent rain, rises sharply against the fading sky. Below, dark water laps gently at the base of the stone, reflecting the faint, warm glow of the distant town on the horizon. Humid air hangs heavy in the frame, softening the edges of the surrounding foliage into blurred greens and shadows. The dry season leaves the vegetation sparse yet vibrant, highlighting the rough, eroded surfaces of the ancient stone. A small patch of wet sand in the immediate foreground catches the last light, revealing fine grains and scattered shells.
